Multi-Year Accessibility Plan (2025–2030)
Introduction
This Multi-Year Accessibility Plan outlines Binex Line Corp. – Toronto’s strategy for preventing and removing barriers and meeting requirements under the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (IASR). The plan will be reviewed and updated at least once every five years, with annual status reports posted on our website.
A. General Requirements
· 2025: Develop and publish Accessibility Policy. (Complete)
· 2025: Develop and publish Multi-Year Accessibility Plan. (Complete)
· 2026: Ensure accessibility is considered in procurement of goods, services, and facilities.
B. Customer Service Standards
· 2026: Train all employees on accessible customer service.
· 2026: Establish a process for service animals, support persons, and notices of disruption.
· 2026: Implement an accessible feedback process (email, phone, in-person).
C. Information & Communications Standards
· 2026: Provide accessible formats and communication supports upon request.
· 2026: Publicize availability of accessible formats and supports.
· 2026: Ensure website and web content comply with WCAG 2.0 Level AA. (Complete)
· 2026: Provide emergency and public safety information in accessible formats. Feedback processes and all publicly available information will be provided in accessible formats or with communication supports upon request, at no additional cost.
D. Employment Standards
· 2025: Update recruitment postings to include notice of accommodation. (Complete)
· 2026: Inform employees of accessibility supports at onboarding and when policies change.
· 2026: Provide individualized emergency response plans.
· 2026: Create written processes for accommodation plans and return-to-work.
· 2026: Integrate accessibility into performance management, career development, and redeployment.
E. Training
· 2026: Provide mandatory AODA and Human Rights Code training to all employees, management, and contractors.
· 2026: Keep records of all training delivered.
· Ongoing : Provide training for new hires as soon as practicable.
F. Monitoring & Reporting
· Annually: Post accessibility status report on company website.
· Every 5 years: Review and update Multi-Year Accessibility Plan.
· Once required : Accessibility Compliance Report to the Government of Ontario.
